New Age operates out of a modern, single story 200,000 square foot facility. We create most of our extrusions with our in house extrusion press using only primary aluminum. This ensures a high-tensile strength and the highest possible corrosion resistance. We also utilize a 100 foot cut-to-length line for handling aluminum and stainless sheet in full coils.

Our fabrication department utilizes, amongst other equipment, a Turret Punch to provide higher tolerances in sheet fabrication. We have six robotic welders that provide greater production capabilities and higher quality welds. The addition of an automated shower provides a clean and uniform finish to the final product. Our combination of specialized equipment and highest quality materials, together with our versatility in product design and fabrication, make us the source for aluminum transportation and storage equipment.

New Age Industrial is located in the “Heartland of America” in Norton, Kansas. With our single location, we are able to assure continuous product quality, as well as maintain a consistent, high level of customer service. Our rural location gives us access to a work force with very strong work ethic and a true understanding of what the word “quality” means.

New Age initially started in the aluminum business in 1966 selling extrusions to window and door manufacturers. In 1970, the swine confinement industry was looking for a means to make their facilities more corrosion resistant. Aluminum was a natural choice, and the products fit New Age perfectly. Due to its strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion, aluminum revolutionized the industry. New Age continues to serve the swine industry, although today it represents less than five percent of our business.

In 1972, New Age began serving a new market, the Food Service/Supermarket industry. These customers also required products with the strength, durability, and corrosion resistance of aluminum. Again, the extrusion press has proven itself to be an invaluable asset. We are able to create our own shapes and thicknesses of aluminum to meet the various specific application demands of operators. By continually developing new products and maintaining our commitment to quality, New Age has been able to grow in size, and today is a leading source for storage and transportation equipment. Our products continue to serve the largest supermarket and restaurant chains, to your local food service equipment dealer.

1996 was a turning point for New Age. On April 8th, an early morning fire destroyed most of our factory. As a significant contributor to the local economy, work quickly began to rebuild, creating the foundation for the next decade of quality products and improved customer service. The rebuilding process provided new opportunities for incorporating automated equipment into the manufacturing process, as well as streamlining our production flow. We are still thankful to the community and to all of our customers who saw us through this challenging time.

Today, New Age has been growing to meet the demands of additional markets. We have expanded into the Healthcare, Material Handling, Correctional, and Recreational industries. Our custom fabrication continues to grow with these expanding markets. Our goal is to “Put the Custom back in Customer”.
